{the jewelry}

Every piece of {simple starfish} jewelry is custom made per order.  Each custom piece of jewelry begins with top quality sterling silver which is hand cut, sanded, hammered and polished.  The sterling silver is then hand stamped according to your order.  Because the jewelry is made by hand and not machines, it will have a handmade, artisan look.  No two pieces will ever be exactly the same.  The letters will not line up exactly perfect...which is exactly what makes the jewelry so unique and special.  Only top quality materials are used - sterling silver, freshwater pearls, swarovski crystals and semi-precious gemstones.  All of our chains are also top quality sterling silver.

{care of your jewelry}

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes and needs to be polished in order to keep its brilliant shine.  We recommend that you polish your {simple starfish} jewelry at least once per week and keep it in the air tight plastic bag whenever you are not wearing it.  To clean your piece, we recommend using a polishing cloth.  The cloth will remove tarnish and bring back the brilliant shine.  You may use a mild silver jewelry cleaner on the chain.  Make sure to not get the hand stamped letters wet or they may fade.  The letters are darkened with an oxidation agent that may fade if exposed to water, perfume, etc.  With a little care, your treasured piece will stay beautiful forever.

{timeframe for your jewelry}

Each piece is made by hand after payment is received and cleared in the order they are received.  Each piece is cut, sanded, polished, stamped, oxidized, polished again and again all by hand.  A lot of time is put into making your piece perfect.  The average time frame for completion of your order is 1-2 weeks, but varies based on the number of orders currently waiting to be produced, backorder of various sterling silver components and holiday rushes.  Your order may take longer during certain peak seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.) or if certain items are on backorder.  We will notify you via email if your order will be delayed. 

We do offer a RUSH option for an additional fee.  Please email customerservice@simplestarfish.com for details.  In the meantime, if you need your order by a specific date please include that info in the comments when you order and we will try to accomodate your request, if possible.

{payment}

We accept payments via Paypal.  You can pay with a Visa or Mastercard.  You do not need a Paypal account.

{shipping}

Your order will ship via United States Postal Service Priority Mail for $7.95.  Shipping insurance is optional and will be offered at checkout.  We are not responsible if your package is lost or stolen.

If you chose to ship your package to a different address than your billing address, please make sure to indicate that in Paypal as well.

We are now offering International shipping.  Your order will ship via United States Postal Service Priority Mail International for $16.95.  Shipping insurance is optional but highly recommended for international shipping.  We are not responsible if you package is lost or stolen.  Also, shipping times to international addresses vary and we can not control the amount of time it takes to get your package.

{return policy}

Each piece of jewelry is made custom for each person, therefore we can not accept returns.  All sales are final.  Please make sure to double check the spelling of all words and names before placing your order.  If you are not truly happy for some reason, contact us and we will try to help.  If we have made an error on your order, contact us asap.
